Forfeit bet for Gavin McDonnell & Brian Rose on Ryan Doyle vs Jordan Gill
It's surely what Twitter was made for. Confident in the chances of their respective gym-mates, champions Gavin McDonnell and Brian Rose have struck a bet on the social media platform around the result of Commonwealth featherweight champion Ryan Doyle vs Jordan Gill.
First suggested by Blackpool middleweight Rose, the agreement is that if his pal Doyle prevails on Saturday night at London's Copper Box, Doncaster's recent world super-bantam title challenger must wear a t-shirt bearing the victor's branding, for a week. Not only that, but the loser of the wager must also post a photo of their wearing said offending garment every day of that week on Instagram.
Obviously, if Cambridgeshire's Gill were to take the belt, his stablemate McDonnell would win the bet, forcing Rose to don and publicise his new Jordan top.
It adds further spice to a highly intriguing battle between on-form Doyle and unbeaten Gill.
