Landslide points win for Sunny Edwards
Edwards moves up to 9-0 whilst Liverpool's Farrag slips to 19-4
After a heated war of words in the lead up to the Sunny Edwards vs Ryan Farrag WBO European super-flyweight championship fight, the Croydon man comfortably defeated his nemesis on points with scores of 100-91 and 100-90 twice on October 26 at the York Hall.
It was a clear victory for 'Showtime' Sunny who used his feet superbly to produce a masterclass over the former European champion.
In other championship action, Portsmouth's Michael McKinson (15-0) retained his WBC International Silver welterweight title with a one-sided points victory over Sammy McNess (10-2).
Essex puncher Mitchell Frearson moved up to 3-0 on the undercard in his super-welterweight debut. The 26-year-old from Hornchurch, trained by Jamie Williams, defeated Hungarian Pal Olah (9-23-3) on points over four-rounds.
Dan Azeez (6-0), 29 from Lewisham, continued his unbeaten run with a six-rounds points win over Ghanaian Charles Adamu (32-12).
