Tommy Langford marches on unbeaten
Unbeaten middleweight Tommy Langford 11(2)-0-0 extended his unbeaten pro record with a points win over Gary Boulden 7-15(3)-2 at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall last night.
The Frank Warren fighter from Birmingham won each round decisively with a 60-54 points score.
Speaking after the fight, Bideford-born Langford said, "Very pleased, it was a good clean performance, rocked him a few times but he was very slippery and managed to get through. He always manages to take rounds off his opponents so to keep a clean sheet and win so decisively was good and I look forward to progressing and continuing to step up the levels in my next fights."
Teammate, Frankie Gavin 19(12)-1-0 defeated Mate Hornyak 12(4)-3(2)-1 with a stoppage win in the second round.
Light welterweight, Luke Paddock 7(1)-0-0 defeated Simas Volosinas 5(1)-20(3)-0 on points to win his first ever pro title.
Light heavyweight, Andrew Robinson 12(3)-0-0 stopped journeyman, Elvis Dube 6(5)-28(3)-2 in the last round of their six round contest.
Super middleweight, Craig Willshee 3(1)-0-0 stopped Mark Till 2(1)-9(2)-1 in the fourth round of their six round fight. Super featherweight, Des Bowater 5-0-0 continues his unbeaten run with a points win over Jamie Quinn 1-3-0.
Super middleweight, Dan Breeze 2-0-0 doubled his win ratio with a points victory over Jan Balog 8(3)-20(4)-1.
